The Opportunity:

Due to continual growth and expansion throughout Australia, a new position has been created within Encara for a Business Development (BD) Consultant, who will be responsible for achieving growth in Encara’s market share and subsequent financial growth of the business.

The key roles and responsibilities are linked with the required outcome to deliver market expansion and financial growth for Encara;
  • Through the review, refinement and improvement of Encara’s service offerings, points of difference and positioning in the market in consultation with the Directors and management team by developing marketing activities and resources to exploit marketing opportunities including email campaigns, phone call campaigns, events etc;
  • By creating and cultivating new and existing business relationships by building and maintaining the CRM database of facility managers and other decision makers. Through activities such as:
    • Cold calling facilities;
    • Developing and delivering email campaigns;
    • Assessing the response to email campaigns and further refinement and improvement of campaigns;
    • Attending industry events – Networking;
    • Maintaining contact with current Client’s list to ensure ability to leverage our good relationship in the event they change company.
  • By assisting the Directors to close opportunities for new business by assisting with preparation of quotes, tender documents, presentations to prospective clients, and the delivery of meetings and presentations if and as required;

  • By reviewing sales goals in consultation with the Director’s.
About You:

To be successful in this role you must have:
  • Proven experience in a similar role working in a fast-paced and challenging environment;
  • A high level of organisation and time management as this is a somewhat autonomous position;
  • The ability to work as part of a close-knit professional team;
  • An adaptable and flexible nature to respond quickly to changing priorities;
  • A passion for improving systems and processes and always searching for continuous improvement;
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience working in a similar role within the Medical or HealthCare sectors or similar.
