Job description:

SALARY RANGE: $83,120 to $89,046 pa (plus 17% super)
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-time and fixed term for 2 years
LOCATION: Melbourne Burwood Campus


The Associate Research Fellow will initiate and conduct research for the project ‘Untangling the complexities of communication processes for managing medications in older people across transition points of care.’

This will include:

  • Supporting and assisting with research, scholarship or creative activity.
  • Supporting and assisting with research projects and collaborations.
  • Initiate and conduct research under limited supervision either as a member of a team, or independently
  • Conduct and analyse observations, interviews, focus groups and clinical audits.


  • PhD in a health discipline.
  • Demonstrated skills in the coordination of data collection, data entry and analysis using IBM SPSS and Excel.
  • Experience in working with computer based data acquisition and analysis systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
