The Position

ESS Support Services Worldwide, part of Compass Group PLC, provide catering and associated services to the mining and construction industries. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Utility Attendant to join our team on a Drive In / Drive Out working a 2 weeks on, 1 week off roster at our Eureka Village out of Moranbah. You will work with our professional dining room and housekeeping teams who strive to create a working environment that provides job satisfaction and creates opportunities for advancement.

The Person

  • Housekeeping/industrial cleaning experience
  • Knowledge of food service and preparation
  • Experience setting up and cleaning dining areas
  • Maintain cleanliness standards of the kitchen
  • Assist in meeting HACCP standards
  • Basic Knife skills and experience operating a commercial dishwasher
  • The ability to work well within teams
  • Exceptional personal presentation & flexible "can do" attitude
  • Have your own car and a valid driver’s licence
  • A coal board medical and standard 11 certificate would be desirable
