The Real Estate team
As a key player in many of Australia's most significant and complex property projects, the multidisciplinary Real Estate team's clients include foreign institutional investors, property fund managers, government authorities, real estate investment trusts, developers and other stakeholders, on some of the largest and most complex projects in Australia.
We are the law firm of choice for large major projects including urban renewal, major development, sustainability, sale and leaseback and joint ventures.
Clayton Utz also has specialist government knowledge which provides our Government clients peace of mind, and robust legal advice that will stand up to the gamut of political, media and parliamentary scrutiny that can sometimes occur in high-value, high-profile projects.

The role
Reporting to one of the firm's award winning Solicitors, Alfonso del Rio, your caseload will cover an array of matters across both public and private sectors, including a wide range of governmental and other real estate, planning and environmental and construction law matters, including transaction restructuring and project financing.
You will be responsible for managing reasonably sized property transactions.
The team has an unrivalled portfolio of major commercial clients and is renowned for its expertise in advising many major players in the real estate industry.

Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have substantial broad-ranging property experience, exposure to different types of property matters, ideally between 2-5 years. You will have a strong academic background with strong client-facing capability. You will relish the opportunity to challenge the status quo and be able to demonstrate strong legal grasp of key principles relevant to Real Estate.
