The Forensic & Technology Services team
Our Forensic and Technology Services (FTS) practice is the first integrated forensic and legal service offering in Australia. We offer our clients the complete package of forensic investigation, forensic accounting, forensic technology and front-end forensic transaction services, which is complementary to the full service legal offering at Clayton Utz. The new practice is headed by Paul Fontanot who has 20 years' experience working internationally as a forensic accountant in a global accounting firm.
The Role
Clayton Utz, Forensic Technology Services (FTS) team are seeking two analysts to be based in our Sydney CBD office.  Our FTS team specialises in the identification, collection, processing and analysis of electronic data.

In this role you will:
  • Process and analyse data sets using Nuix and load into review platforms such as Relativity.
  • Collect data in a forensically sound manner.
  • Track the status of data throughout the matter lifecycle and maintain detailed record keeping, quality assurance and project documentation.
  • Have opportunity for training, development and career progression.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have experience in an analyst-type role (i.e. fraud analyst, risk analyst, data analyst) or equivalent.

As the successful candidate, you will have:
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field ( Computer Science,  IT, Engineering, Law, etc).
  • High level of analytical ability and attention to detail - our work requires logical thinking about processes and sets of data.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment, and be eager and excited to learn.
  • Strong technical skills:
    • Proficiency with Windows and related software.
    • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, familiarity with Access.

The following skills are desirable:
  • Litigation support application experience, such as Nuix, Relativity, Ringtail.
  • Relational database application experience such as SQL Server.
  • Coding and scripting experience.
  • Digital forensic application experience such as EnCase, Cellebrite, Magnet IEF.

In addition to this, we're looking for a resilient, self-starter. Someone who is able to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and is focused on attention to detail and providing an outstanding service to their clients.
