About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality and Compliance Coordinator to manage our quality and compliance efforts across our Housing Services. Encouraged to think and perform things differently, you will be responsible for maintaining quality and compliance management systems. This includes policy and procedure development, and provision of assistance with business improvement initiatives.

You will actively participate in and progress service provision changes in collaboration with the Housing Services Leadership Team. You will be providing specialist advice on matters of legislation, quality standards, efficient and effective housing service delivery, and execution of funding contracts and agreements within Churches of Christ Housing Services.

This position is remunerated at Level 7 as per Churches of Christ in Queensland Business Support Staff Enterprise Agreement 2015 (depending on qualifications/experience).

About you

You have sound working knowledge of legislative and regulatory frameworks and requirements, preferably those relating to the Social Housing industry. Thriving on making a difference, you also have a keen eye for detail. Bringing in a fresh perspective and a can-do attitude to the team, you take on a methodological approach.

Proud of your ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently, you prioritise your workload, and manage your time effectively in order to successfully meet deadlines. With your well-developed communication and interpersonal skills you easily engage with a range of internal and external stakeholders.

Your experience and qualifications for the role should also include:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Quality Management, Business/Management or relevant social housing industry experience;
  • Applied knowledge of relevant legislation, compliance requirements and government policies that impact social and affordable housing programs;
  • Previous experience working in an organisation driven by change;
  • A current drivers license.
