About the role

An exciting opportunity exists for an Environmental Services Worker to join our team at Golden Age Aged Care Service. You will be a hands-on individual looking for diversity in a role. Contributing as an integral member of this service, you will be responsible for working and assisting in a variety of areas including main kitchen, kitchenette''s, serveries, dining rooms, laundry and cleaning.

You will be available to work across a seven day roster including some weekend work.


About you

You are an enthusiastic reliable worker, who enjoys being a team player, yet can work autonomously. You have compassion for the elderly and are passionate about maintaining an environment suitable to their needs.

Ideally you will have:

  • Certificate II in Cleaning Operations and/or Certificate II in Kitchen Operations or similar;
  • Current National Police Certificate or the ability to obtain;
  • Experience in working in kitchens, preferably within the Aged Care industry;
  • Experience in operating equipment associated with cleaning and laundry.
