The Role

We currently have a great opportunity for a motivated Team Leader to join the Packaging team at our Cascade Brewery. In this role you will lead the Packaging Teams to meet the distribution plans, achieve department KPI's and deliver site performance targets, whist increasing capability within the team through the structured implementation of a world class manufacturing program.

This role is ideal for a strong people leader with solid supply chain experience within a FMCG or similar manufacturing environment. To balance your proven practical experience you will ideally have a relevant qualification and demonstrate the ability to make decisions and work under pressure. You will have a desire for action, coupled with the energy, passion and drive to inspire team members towards continuous improvement in all areas, whilst focussing on maintaining safety as a number one priority.

  • A background working within a high volume, fast paced warehouse environment such as FMCG, automotive or pharmaceutical
  • Proven People leader, experience in leading teams through change would be ideal
  • Tertiary qualification in either mechanical or electrical engineering other appropriate tertiary qualification (preferred)
  • In depth knowledge of packaging plant equipment and the maintenance process
  • Demonstrated understanding OHS requirements.
  • The ability to build relationships and influence effectively across all levels
  • The ability to communicate effectively and prove ability to motivate a team to achieve results
