The Role

The Procurement Manager works to support the development and execution of category practices for Logistics categories, including support of sourcing strategy definition, deployment and stakeholder alignment. With strong category focus the Procurement Manager supports the development and implementation of sourcing projects and interactions between CUB business stakeholders, CUB Procurement and the Global Procurement teams.

The primary purpose of the Procurement Manager is to support best practise application of the total cost of ownership within the category; including the on-going development and application of strategic sourcing and contracting processes

  • Support the Zone and Global teams in the identification of stakeholders in the initiation of the strategy development and sourcing execution projects
  • Actively engage with stakeholders as defined in alignment with Senior Manager throughout the strategy development and sourcing execution process
  • Ensure that the input from the stakeholder is considered in the process\
  • Value pipeline development and management
  • Global and regional alignment in strategic sourcing initiatives
  • Record and report performance (savings) of conducted projects
  • Support the Senior Manager in the analysis and definition of the category spend baseline and category profile, incl. risk assessment and SRM strategy
  • Support development negotiation strategies in alignment with Senior Manager and ensure proper documentation
  • Provide support during the supplier screening and supplier selection process
  • Perform category management activities for projects
