ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - Cabrini Access and Ambulatory Services

An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated administrative assistant to join the Cabrini Access Unit. This unit receives referrals and enquires from a range of sources, and triages, responds and co-ordinates these referrals in a timely manner to ensure patients access appropriate services when and where they require them.

The Role

The Administration Assistant for Access and Ambulatory Services will provide administrative support to the Cabrini Access Unit and Ambulatory Services within the framework of the Mission, Values and Vision of Cabrini Health. The administrative role is pivotal in supporting the service to improve the access and intake into the services offered at Cabrini Health. This role requires liaison with employees of Cabrini Health including clinicians, administrative staff and referring Doctors and will also require liaison with external referrers including consumers to ensure the prompt delivery of Cabrini Services. 

 

Key Requirements:

  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office package, including good keyboard skills, word processing and accurate data entry
  • Flexible approach to tasks undertaken
  • Knowledge of PAS ( optional)

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management & ability to prioritize tasks
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent telephone manner

 Experience:

  • Previous experience in Medical setting
  • Experience in an access unit would be desirable
  • Data entry
  • Customer service delivery
