An exciting opportunity exists within our Sydney Office, located at Enfield, for an Inventory Administrator reporting to the Inventory Manager and working within a very friendly, enthusiastic and supportive team.

Main purpose of the job

This role will see you monitor the Bunzl inventory order process system, liaising with suppliers and freight forwarders and expediting purchase orders, monitoring slow moving and obsolete stock holdings and reporting to internal stakeholders. Within this role you will maintain an accurate forecast to manage inventory to achieve high fill rates and balance stock levels to a level acceptable to the business. Daily KPI's include monitoring and reviewing critical control reports, product set up and maintenance as well as other scheduled reporting and administrative functions.

Major responsibilities will include:

  • Minimization of product obsolescence
  • Daily update of availability data and forecast information
  • Communication to stakeholders and some stock ordering
  • Maintaining product setup to ensure a high level of data integrity

Skills and personal attributes:

  • Experience and knowledge in expediting, report and data analysis and other administrative tasks.
  • Enthusiastic and customer focused with strong communication skills
  • Have an eye for detail with strong analytical and organisational skills
  • You will possess initiative, good judgement, be conscientious and a clear thinker.
  • Experience in a similar role would be advantageous.
