The Position:

Due to maternity leave, we have an exciting opportunity for a full time Payroll Officer to join our high performing team until November 2018. Based at our Support Office in Hawthorn East, just 9 kilometres from the Melbourne CBD, our head office is a thriving, supportive and friendly workplace where you can collaborate with colleagues from a variety of business units.

This role will assist with processing payroll for our 1500 employees, which includes completing fortnightly pays, resolving queries over the phone and online, and maintaining employee records. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience in high volume processing and end to end payroll. With a developed knowledge of current pay and taxation legislation, you will contribute to the delivery of efficient and effective payroll practices.

You will have:

  • Highly effective numeracy, attention to detail and data entry skills
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • A customer focused approach with exceptional interpersonal and problem solving skills
  • A friendly and positive attitude and are naturally able to build relationships
  • A honest, helpful and dependable disposition - a real team player personality
  • A commitment to treating others with dignity and respect
  • Technology One experience (highly desirable)
  • Experience within the Health / Aged Care industry (highly desirable)
