About the role

Our Yea & District Community Bank® Branch has an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Officer to become the face of our branch, leading the way with our unique philosophy.

As a Customer Service Officer, you will listen to customers and find solutions to help them achieve their financial goals. You are responsible for providing effective & efficient service to branch customers in a dynamic, diverse environment. You will be a team player, focused on working collaboratively to achieve goals

This is a permanent, part-time position. The roster is 24 hours per fortnight.

About you

A successful Customer Service Officer will:

  • Bring demonstrated sales experience and experience with working towards KPIs
  • Have the ability to confidently talk to customers face-to-face or over the telephone
  • Thrive on and foster achieving positive results and outcomes
  • Be a values driven and career orientated person
  • Be team player in a dynamic branch team environment
  • Bring extensive experience in a customer service environment
  • Have a willingness to be actively involved in local community engagement activities that make a difference
  • Experience in banking and finance industry will be advantageous, but certainly not essential for someone with a strong sales background.
