About the Role and Team

Alice Springs Community Bank® is located in the heart … the Red Centre of Australia. We are looking for a demonstrated people leader who wants to develop their career. The focus of the role is to drive and implement our local connection strategy throughout the Central NT region. The Alice Springs team will need a successful business leader who can uphold the values that form the partnership between the community and the Bank.

As Branch Manager, you will be the leader of this important local business, demonstrating a pro-active approach to sourcing business and developing their team. A key focus is to deliver tailored financial solutions for our customers and establish sustainable relationships. As a Branch Manager you will offer financial expertise in a range of lending products and services in consumer lending, insurance and wealth management. You'll be responsible for leading and coaching a motivated team in delivering exceptional service, sales results and meeting the needs of both new and existing customers.

Skills, Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

We are seeking internal candidates with established and proven leadership, lending and relationship management experience including:

  • Demonstrated competence in achieving consistent sales results
  • Relationship building skills proactively developing valued internal and external networks and community partnerships (including the Community Bank® Board)
  • Ability to lead, mentor and develop highly effective teams fostering a culture of innovation, performance and resilience
  • Ability to exceed customer expectations through an understanding on their individual financial needs
  • FSRA Accreditation T2 and Personal loan/Credit Card DLA minimum is required
  • Demonstrable experience in developing and executing strategies to maintain and build business growth in competitive markets and environments
  • Experience with business reporting and board management will be advantageous
