Clinical Director Mental Health Services

Fixed Term - Full Time/Part time

76 hours per fortnight or as negotiated

4 year contract

 

 

 

Ballarat Health Services seeks a Clinical Director of Mental Health Services to lead our mental health services.

 

You will be a key senior leader within Ballarat Health Services, and have the opportunity to deliver strategic and operational leadership, whilst overseeing clinical management. You will be an energetic, innovative practitioner with demonstrated experience in leading change, excellent interpersonal skills and promote a positive workplace culture with an engaged workforce.

 

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

 

•In collaborative partnership with the Operations Director, lead and manage the provision of clinical services in Mental Health, emphasising excellence in patient care, staff performance, efficiency, education and research •Ensure the services provide the highest quality world-class clinical care to patients.

•Supervise the clinical care of patients, including overseeing clinical supervision arrangements for junior medical officers.

•Actively enable and participate in the ongoing organisational and clinical development of the staff working at Ballarat Health Services.

•Ensure patient flow is managed, optimising the patient journey and the patient experience.

•Actively monitor and manage the team to ensure the highest level of service delivery
