Our Enterprise Solutions (ES) division is comprised of service and operations, IT architecture, cyber security, IT operations, digital services and relevant risk management.

The role:

In this newly created role reporting to the Group Executive – Chief Operations, Digital and Information Officer and as a key member of the ES leadership team, you will ensure the division executes their strategy by focusing on the establishment, performance and optimisation of day-to-day operations.

Alongside the division Group Executive, you will provide leadership and direction to develop, implement and manage frameworks and the operations and oversee division wide initiatives. This will include annual planning, budgeting and performance as well as the people and cultural journey.

Specifically you will:

  • Ensure the continued financial viability of division through sound fiscal management and preparation, management and reporting of an annual operational budget
  • Provide leadership and input for all strategic plan implementation including developing a system to track and report progress on the strategic plan
  • Identify opportunities for ES to leverage cross-program strengths to take advantage of new opportunities and address organisational challenges
  • Represent the division on projects and in decision making forums
  • Assist to implement the people strategy
  • Manage the quality and efficient delivery of ES reporting internally, externally to the business, Executive Committee, the Board and subsidiary Board committees
  • Establish processes to ensure the ES leadership team is kept up to date with emerging banking sector trends

About you:

Tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline, you have extensive business management experience in operations, finance, IT, legal or similar with substantial experience coordinating & overseeing overall business unit administration activities. You have the uncanny ability to quickly gain an excellent understanding of the business and implement the division strategy whilst working closely with the leadership team to improve procedures & systems and coordinate projects. You also have a track record of execution in these areas.

You are differentiated from your peers due to your highly developed influencing and relationship building skills, commercial acumen and written communication skills combined with effective coaching and mentoring skills.
