The role:

Reporting to the State Key Account Manager, this role will enjoy managing a portfolio of brokers within an allocated region or group and identifying growth opportunities that will enable achievement of targets.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Generating, managing and retaining a productive and profitable Mortgage Broker panel to achieve and exceed business growth objectives;
  • Professionally managing Broker relationships - identifying and converting new business opportunities in the Mortgage Broking market;
  • Relationship management of allocated panel of Mortgage Brokers to achieve specific targets, growth and quality measures in line with broader distribution goals; and,
  • Provision of general advice and guidance to Mortgage Brokers on BOQ’s proposition to the third party channel to ensure brokers and customers receive the best outcomes possible

About you:

As an experienced Business Development Manager, you will have possess previous experience in third party sales. Your impressive track record will speak for itself. You will demonstrate a professional approach at all times, be able to communicate strongly and openly to both individuals and groups, think outside the square and have top-notch networking skills. Credit Delegation experience will be highly regarded as will training, facilitation or presentation experience.
