About the Role:

An opportunity has arisen for a Communications Manager to join the Investor Relations team on a 12 month maternity cover contract. This role is available in Brisbane or Sydney.

As the Investor Communications Manager you will manage the Bank’s corporate and investor reporting processes including the annual report and sustainability reporting, as well as providing investor relations support. The role also requires the development and maintenance of strong relationships with a range of internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare written materials including key messages, Q&As, ASX releases, call centre scripts, speeches and other communications as required
  • Overall project management of the Bank’s annual and sustainability reports. Includes internal and external stakeholder engagement, writing, co-ordinating photography and managing design houses, print and mail agencies
  • Assist in the delivery of key financial calendar initiatives including interim and annual results, AGM and other initiatives – particularly preparation of presentations, liaison with print houses and other suppliers
  • Assist in the preparation of Board reports, market updates and other activities aimed at keeping internal stakeholders up to date with market activities
  • Manage the Investor Relations section of the website
  • Provide support to the Head of Investor Relations to manage the Bank's share registry services on an operational basis – including regular review to ensure cost effectiveness and efficiency

About you?

To be successful in this role you have Corporate Communications and/or Investor relations experience from a listed company environment. Further, you will the below skills, knowledge and experience:

  • Degree in Business, Communications or Journalism
  • Proven customer service orientation
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong writing skills with excellent grasp of grammar, punctuation, and writing for different audiences
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Creative with a flair for identifying potential opportunities
  • Consistently able to deliver superior results within tight timeframes and in a high-pressure environment
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate information effectively, accurately and persuasively
  • Knowledge of the banking industry including competitors and industry trends
  • Ability to identify and manage risks both internally and in the public arena
  • Substantial knowledge of Windows XP, Windows and MS Office including Excel and Powerpoint
  • Understanding of print house and production agencies
