Your new role:

As the Agribusiness Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing credit submissions for Agribusiness customers, in conjunction with providing secondary support for a portfolio of clients with complex and sophisticated banking requirements. Further, the Agribusiness Analyst will be required to liaise with all relevant departments to ensure all documentation and settlements are processed promptly and accurately.

What's involved?

  • Assist the Agribusiness manager to increase Business Banking’s asset base through promotion of the Bank’s suite of products to the target market – specifically Agribusinesses clients with lending requirements greater than $2M

  • Preparation of credit files to advise on suitable / acceptable structures for new facilities, achieving a consistently high standard for credit files prepared and ensuring reviews and renewals are undertaken by their due dates

  • Evaluation of credit risk relating to new business proposals

  • Preparation of Agribusiness lending submissions by critically analysing and interpreting financial statements and identifying industry trends

  • Undertaking of due diligence of accounts when necessary and assisting the relevant stakeholders in this process for their clients

  • Coordinating of facility documentation, settlement and post settlement activities

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with customers through the delivery of excellent service

  • Ability to understand and discuss Agribusiness with clients

About you:

As a natural problem solver, you will relish the opportunity to demonstrate your proven track record of credit analysis in order to interpret financial statements and identify industry trends. Naturally, you will possess strong organisational skills and attention to detail, coupled with your ability to multi-task and liaise with various stakeholders. Your proven analytical skills will be complimented by your ability to thrive in a fast paced and demanding environment.
