BOQ Finance delivers asset finance solutions to SME and mid-market corporates predominately via intermediaries. Our partners are increasingly demanding access to a broader range of finance and banking services including Debtor Finance, Trade Finance, Inventory Finance, in addition to Asset Finance; delivered as part of broader relationship and solution-focused proposition which is enabled by a full banking relationship with the business customer of the intermediary.

Your new role:

Working closely with the National Sales Manager, this newly created role requires an experienced Debtor Finance, Business Development Manager, to plan, coordinate and deliver marketing activities, and business improvement initiatives. You will enjoy:

  • Achieving settlement, portfolio growth and profitability objectives for the Debtor Finance product portfolio across the direct and 3rd party sales channel
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the direct and 3rd party channel
  • Complete portfolio analysis to identify credit worthy Debtor Finance opportunities
  • Collaborate with Regional Banking teams to develop gap training for specific product and process development areas
  • Manage the ongoing customer relationship, including developing a relationship management calling program

About you:

You are distinguished from your peers due to your well-developed commercial acumen, debtor finance exposure and passion for exceeding customer expectations. You have solid relationship management experience and expertise in business development and networking due to your well-honed negotiation & influencing skills. Your sound knowledge of the commercial market and competitors’ products, combined with your credit analysis skills and exposure to pricing delegation and management of portfolio margin performance are highly regarded.
