Casual Mobile Customer Service Officer (Hearing Bus Driver)

  • Unique opportunity for someone who enjoys being out on the road driving and has a real passion for providing excellent customer service and in health promotion
  • Casual position- hours are variable and you could be working a few weeks on and a few weeks off
  • This role will be base in our Hamilton Hearing Centre and supporting our Western Victoria region
  • Attractive hourly rate - $32.96 per hour

We are looking for a dynamic, results focused individual to join our team to service the area of Western Victoria area.


The role:

The key responsibility of your role is to build brand awareness and community engagement by driving our hearing awareness bus and assisting with events.


You will participate in community engagement events, conduct hearing screenings, answer customer enquiries, manage electronic appointment booking system, assist clients with hearing aid management, including providing minor repairs and troubleshooting support. You will also assist with other marketing events as required.  

To be considered we are looking for the following attributes:

  • A current driver’s licence
  • Confidence in driving a commercial van size and/or camper van size desirable but not essential (training will be provided)
  • Excellent people skills and the ability & interest to develop great relationships with our clients
  • A real passion for providing exceptional customer service in every interaction
  • Experience in a variety of administration tasks and enthusiasm to learn more of the complex aspects of our business
  • Strong organisational & problem solving abilities
  • Basic commercial vehicle trouble shooting skills desirable but not essential
  • Flexible with a great attitude towards learning new tasks, adapting to change and multi-tasking.
  • Good computer skills
  • Understands the importance of being a team player and possesses strong organisational & problem solving abilities
  • The ability to work with limited supervision & demonstrate initiative when managing day to day responsibilities
  • Confident using computers & learning new programs/applications
