Community Hearing Advisor WAGGA WAGGA


  • 12 months fixed term part time position – 3 days per week
  • Excellent for someone who has marketing or health promotions experience

We are looking for a dynamic, results focused Community Hearing Advisor to join our WAGGA WAGGA Hearing Centre for a 12 month period. You will be reporting to the Centre Manager and work closely with our diverse team.


The key focus will be to establish and maintain great stakeholder relationships. Also build brand awareness by contacting pharmacies, local GPs, community groups, aged care facilities and other local health providers to arrange hearing screenings and short talks, as well as promoting and working on our Australian Hearing Bus.

In conjunction with your business development activities, you will also undertake hearing checks at screening events, demonstrate assistive listening devices, update data and records in relation to events, assist with administration and face to face customer service.

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Excellent people skills with the ability to develop great relationships with our clients and stakeholders
  • Experience in a sales and/or marketing background
  • Experience in face to face customer service
  • Strong presentation skills – with the ability to present to community groups
  • A great attitude towards learning new tasks and adapting to change
  • Strong organisational skills
  • A strong team player focus with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to multi-task
  • A current driver’s license and own vehicle
