Service Desk Analyst

Provide first point of contact support via email and phone, support 6000+ users throughout Australia.

  • Western suburbs location
  • 12 month fixed term contract
  • Supporting a complex mining & materials business

Reporting to the Service Desk Team Leader you will: 

  • Provide first point of contact support via email and phone
  • Support 6000+ users throughout Australia
  • Support a wide range of technologies, systems and tools
  • Ensure all Service Desk requests are completed efficiently
  • Escalate using defined guidelines where required
  • Provide after-hours support

One of the keys for success in this position is your communication skills. You will be speaking with customers over the phone; therefore, your ability to effectively communicate clearly and actively listen must be second to none. This will be combined with your Superior customer service and written communication skills. As you would expect with Service Desk / Help Desk role there is the need to prioritise workloads. In terms of technical skills, you may formal IT qualifications or honed your skills working in a similar role.

We are seeking candidates with experience in:

  •  Microsoft Windows 7 & 10
  • Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange Server
  • Citrix
  • Office 365 (preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Windows based support role
