Maintenance Planner - OneSteel Reinforcing Revesby

NSW Metro

Ability to plan maintenance across multiple NSW sites.

The people who work in Australia's steel industry take great pride in it and none more so than those who work for Arrium. We are a determined company strengthened by diversity and resourcefulness that can provide you with every opportunity to succeed.

We look for smart, capable people who are as passionate as they are resolute to succeed. Naturally, you'll be expected to deliver your best and, in return you can expect the best from us. We offer excellent opportunities for learning, competitive remuneration and a commitment to promotion from within. In short, we offer opportunities you just can't do without.

Part of Arrium, OneSteel Reinforcing is an industry leader in developing and marketing a vast range of steel reinforcing solutions for building, construction, mining, rural and industrial applications. With a unique product range, OSR continues to meet its customer needs with fast and flexible solutions.

We are currently searching for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join our state Maintenance and Engineering team based in Revesby.  The position will be responsible for improving the reliability and productivity of existing equipment across multiple sites, by providing a cost effective preventative and breakdown maintenance service which will meet the current and future demands of the business.  You will be involved in the identification and implementation of business improvement initiatives and capital improvement projects to improve plant availability and optimise capability.

This is an opportunity to influence and engage key stakeholders, build capability across the business and to ultimately achieve outcomes for the business through improved availability and more efficient use of maintenance resources.

As the ideal candidate, you will be an experienced mechanical or electrical maintenance planner within a heavy industry environment. Equally important will be your strong computer skills, ideally working with Mainpac or a similar CMMS system.  Any experience using MS Project, Access or Excel will be highly regarded.  You will have high attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively as you directly liaise with technical plant stakeholders, utilising your initiative in driving process improvements and influencing outcomes. The ability to solve problems and manage conflicting priorities across multiple business sites, will put you ahead of the rest.

We work smarter, appreciate diversity and never back away from a challenge. If that sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you. Visit our website today and define your new career at OneSteel.
