Located in the heart of Melbourne, the Novotel Melbourne on Collins is an iconic 380 room hotel in walking distance of all the city has to offer. Situated above the luxurious and newly opened St Collins Lane Shopping Precinct, this unique property is a favourite for business and leisure travellers alike.

We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable & Purchasing Officer to work as part of our Finance team on a full time permanent basis. 

The following duties will be undertaken in the role:

  • Verify invoices for accuracy and authorizations
  • Prepare payment runs, strictly following vendor payment terms
  • Reconcile suppliers’ statement of account and follow-up for any missing invoices     
  • Maintain Par level; re-order level, maximum and minimum stock level of all items.
  • Oversee the procedures relating to access control of stores are adhered to all times.
  • Participate in stock takes in the stores and outlets at month end or as required.
To be successful in this role you must have;

  • A demonstrated background in finance and purchasing 
  • Solid computer skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • High attention to detail with accurate record keeping skills
It would also be desirable that you have previous experience in the Tourism/Hospitality environment and a willingness to be a part of a team!
